Back to the B.A.S.I.C.S. for Women Who Want Consistency, Not Perfection - Care That Meets You Where You Are

Hi! I'm Alexis Livingston, MS, CNS

If your foundation is weak, everything feels harder to manage - food, stress, sleep, cravings, and inflammation. We rebuild that foundation by strengthening the gut and building simple, repeatable routines. Your body becomes less reactive, and you have consistency you can return to on busy days, off days, and travel days. Faith is on the front end, and accountability keeps it steady.

The Mission

I work against the constant noise surrounding women’s health. In a space crowded with trends and promises, my focus is helping women discern between truth and misleading messaging, pay attention to their bodies, and return to the fundamentals that are often overlooked. Rather than chasing quick solutions or expensive promises, my work centers on listening to the body, honoring its signals, and supporting the steady foundations that shape health over time. This work is evidence-informed and faith-rooted, guided by consistency rather than hype.

TESTIMONIALS

What Clients Have Said

"Alexis helped me through a really difficult season of unexplained weight loss, constant reflux, low energy, poor sleep, and brain fog. She pushed for answers and helped me get properly evaluated, which led to a diagnosis of Barrett’s esophagus. From there, she guided me off long-term PPIs and supported me with the right digestive supplements and triggers. I no longer live with constant acid reflux, and I can even bend over without worrying about it coming back up.

She also helped me quit smoking, improve my nutrition, and start gaining weight in a healthier way. My sleep has improved so much that I barely need my prescription sleep medication anymore, and her targeted supplement support has helped clear my brain fog and steady my energy. I’m feeling stronger, clearer, and genuinely grateful for her care and commitment."

"Hi Alexis,

It is a pleasure working with you. I’m so grateful for the time, dedication, and genuine care you’ve invested in helping me on my journey toward better health.

Your guidance has gone far beyond food charts and meal plans—you’ve helped me shift not only my eating habits but also my mindset. Because of your support, I’ve developed a healthier relationship with food, gained confidence in making better choices, and have seen real, lasting improvements in both my physical and emotional well-being.

What I appreciate most is how you never gave up on me, even when I felt discouraged. Your encouragement, patience, and knowledge have made all the difference. You took the time to understand my unique challenges and always treated me with compassion and respect. That personal investment has meant more to me than words can fully express.

Thank you for being such a key part of my transformation. I feel stronger, more empowered, and much more hopeful about my health moving forward—all because of your commitment and care."

"Alexis has changed my lifestyle in multiple ways. I was introduced to her by my doctor because of a Diabetes diagnosis. I did not want to take medicine, and I needed guidance on what to eat, how to think about my relationship with food, and my overall health.

Alexis listened to me. She was patient and nonjudgmental as we looked at steps I could take to make lifestyle changes. She asked questions that helped me think outside of the box. She continues to help me adapt to these changes and recommends good supplements that will lower my A1c and help me lose weight. What a bonus! Not only that, but I did it without meds!!!  I have met my goals!

Alexis also monitors my A1c numbers and that keeps me accountable. She works beyond what I can ask for from any medical practitioner.

I love working with Alexis! She is an awesome Functional Medical Practitioner. I highly recommend her!"

FAQs?

What can I expect during a wellness coaching session?

We hit the ground running! Each session is personalized to address your specific goals and needs. We'll discuss your current health status, lifestyle habits, and create actionable steps to help you achieve optimal wellness.

How often should I schedule wellness coaching sessions?

The frequency of sessions depends on your individual needs and goals. Typically, clients start with weekly sessions and adjust as they progress. We'll work together to find a schedule that works best for you.

How long does it take to see results from wellness coaching?

Results vary depending on factors such as commitment level, existing habits, and the complexity of your goals. Many clients start noticing positive changes within a few weeks to a month of consistent coaching.

How much can I expect to pay?

Because every plan is built around your needs, pricing can vary. Here’s the structure you can expect:

We start by reviewing your goals and the steps to get there. There is a minimum four-month commitment. It allows us to review your history and labs, identify patterns, implement changes in a sensible order, and actually evaluate how your body responds. This is not a one-time visit or quick advice. It’s an ongoing, structured process with steady accountability.

Current rates are introductory and may increase as the practice grows.

Before you enroll, you’ll receive the full details in writing so you know exactly what to expect, with no surprises.

How do I get started with wellness coaching?

Getting started is easy! Simply schedule a consultation through our website. During the consultation, we'll discuss your goals, I'll explain my approach, and then determine the best coaching plan for you.

Can wellness coaching help with weight loss?

Yes, wellness coaching can support weight loss goals by providing personalized nutrition guidance, fitness plans, and accountability. We focus on sustainable lifestyle changes that promote long-term health and well-being.

Do you take insurance?

At the moment, I do not, but I plan to in the future. It is important to understand the differences between insurance visits and non-insurance visits. When seeing me without insurance, we can spend the time needed to have proper accountability and promote consistency, many people benefiting from meeting weekly for 45 minutes each. However, insurance only allows for 15-30 minutes each visit (and not all conditions are covered), and depending on the company, only allows a certain number of visits PER YEAR :/.
